| Quote tad rhino="tad rhino"lucky? don't think so.
despite having more of the ball cas were not good enough to break us down, thats there problem.
we took our chances, they didn't.we had 15 men for about 60 minutes in atrocious, energy sapping conditions yet pushed ourselves to the win.it's called mental toughness.'"
Cas had a good chance for a drop goal - they missed
They had a great chance to score - ferres screwed up the inside ball
They let us go pretty much the length of the field in 50 secs and conceded a penalty for us to win the game.
Nothing to do with luck i agree they should have taken their chances.

And yet Castleford were never in the lead (not once) in eighty minutes while playing at home. It was never their game to lose.

| Went straight between the posts...I was stood in WR end.
He knew he kicked it.
End of the day 34 men put their bodys on the line, in tretorous condtions in a ding dong battle, Its a passionate game as it is, and when you lose in the final seconds, it can be a bitter pill to swallow. Last thing you need Is someone rubbing it in.
In my eyes that was just good sportsmanship, but thats just my own opintion.
But the tw*t is broke my heart..lol Crying or Very sad

| I have to commend Kevin Sinfield. Generally, before tonight, I've never really liked him, but his facial reactions after that conversion said it all. I have to applaud him, rather than jump about like his teammates, he knew that Leeds had just taken victory in arguably the most cruelest of forms. So Kev, great sportmanship.
Also Leeds, good luck for the rest of the season. Let's hope our return fixture at Headingley is just as entertaining (minus the rain!)

It's not about being better people though. You're entitled to your own views, but recognise when other people may be correct too. For instance, if you don't believe that you were lucky fair play, but there may be other people - Cas fans, neutrals; whoever - who do.
You take the sh*t with the good and just get on with it. No use rattling on about it and getting at each other because no matter what, we cannot change the result. What's happened has happened.

try telling that to the bulls CEO, and a hell of a lot of fans who will blame anyone or anything but their own team's inability to get the job done on the night.

The Bulls can be forgiven (depending on which circumstance you mean it in) if it's for the MM fiasco a few seasons ago. That was ATROCIOUS, and one you result that should never have happened.
As for your second team, it's usually that Leeds have been good but in other games, yes a failure to convert pressure into points is the most obvious reason. For the Cas game on Friday it was a case that both sides deserved something, but Leeds just got that mistake by Sherwin which got them the win. Unfortunate, but this happens.

| Any Castleford fans bemoaning Friday's result (and how it occurred) would have been given short shrift if there are any Halifax fans on here.
Leeds have been on the end of such finishes as have every club bar St Helens.

Interesting. How did Kevin Sinfield react that day when Jordan Tansey bagged the winner? A cartwheel wasn't it. Not seen him do one of them before or since.

If Shenton had left the ball McGuire would have been over for the 4 - he had no option but to pick it up with EVERY other Cas player also being offside.
That’s why he hesitated before going for the ball – he knew he’d be penalised.
In the absolute rules of the game it could have been classed as a ‘Professional foul’ – deliberate rule breaking to prevent the opposition from scoring.
Shenton was lucky not to get a straight Red and subsequent match ban.

Glad you winked there because that's how Hull KR got us this season: we gave away a penalty under the sticks and the resulting kick won the game for them. I think that was in the last minute? So not quite as nail biting but a bummer nontheless.
