That chicken wing tackle and Lee Smith's second shot on Gilmour are talking points....the rest are just frustration, heat of the moment stuff.

I would of said it was more Gilmour that struck first....Smith went a little high, then completed the tackle. Gilmour did his usual; throwing punches.

Smith's was a very agressive but fair tackle from what i saw, round the shoulder.



As for the 'chicken wing' i didnt see so i cannot really comment.

smith was high and followed it up with a swinging arm. didn't see the chicken wing either,not watched it on tv as yet.

Wouldn't be overly surprised to see JJB cop a ban for the chicken wing - camera replay doesn't look too good for him. Wouldn't expect it to be a long ban though - maybe enough to keep him out of the Salford game. Penalty counts against us have improved considerably in recent weeks, buit JJB really does need to work on his discipline!

honours pretty much even i thought. Leeds came out on top in every department

but only by a very narrow margin.



Thought Long made a few uncharacteristics errors myself, a couple of them which clearly gave the momentumn back to leeds at fairly crucial moments.



Don't think Saints will suffer a great deal from losing, but I think Leeds will gain some real belief from winning to take forward into the playoffs.
