I'd estimate Leeds would get the 10,000 needed for such an offer in about 7 days, tops.

That should allow them to sleep a little easier through the winter knowing that the safe is just bursting with all that money for new player salaries...

Makes me chuckle that the Dulls think its a big archivement and something to get excited about, but in reality as McF mentioned above they've got the 10,000 season ticket holders, but the bank balance will only state that they have 3,000 and that is quite shocking. If Leeds, Wigan, Hull and Saints only got 3K it would be bad financial news.

Never ones for letting facts get in the way of a good gloat? Guess we'd do the same if roles were reversed, of course.



Funnily enough, I will be paying £99 for my seat which cost me IIRC about £190 early bird pricing last year, so that does not sit with your 30% theory. Last year Bulls had just over 5k season ticket holders, including kids and concessions. This year looks like we will have over 10k PLUS kids and concessions, since the latter pledges did not count towards target. And pretty well everybody knows someone who did not pledge who was hanging back to "wait and see". Also, these prices hold only for a month or so, after which they go up between 50% and 100% (the £60 terrace tacket becomes £120, for example) - result being the club gets far more cash in earlier. Had the club NOT done this, I doubt more than about 4k would have bought season tickets. Add in the likely big boost to securing sponsorship income, and of course the significant ancillary income from supporters, and in fact the maths make a great deal of sense.



Will still count for little if the team does not perform, but that's for another day. At least another part of the necessary platform is built now.



But as someone said earlier, its not as if you lot are interested, or have any reason to be, as it hardly concerns you. The OP should have known better.

My interest in the Bulls is that they provide competition for the teams we compete against rather than just targetting two games against Leeds every year like our inbred country cousins do. The stronger you are the better in that regard.
