i was at the match last night and i didnt see what happened at the end of the match when mags got injured, i was too busy watching the ref and what was happening with richards and donald. i watched the incident back on telly today and sky seem to stop the playback as a player runs across field and lifts his foot. you can clearly see danny lift his hands up as though he is saying no dont, but not seeing what happened last night and not seeing anything on sky i was just woundering if anyone did actually see what happened?

he injured himself stretching out to grab carmont. he was rolling around in agony before anyone got to him. i was right in front of where it happened, riddell came over to him and basically stood over him giving him a mouthfull, and that was it. as a wigan fan i have to say that anyone in maguire's position would have done the same it is part and parcel of professional sport. unfortunately for him it has cost him dear, and i can't believe the hatred over the last 24 hours wishing the lad's career is over etc, it was a great game that could have gone either way, just wish people would move on. good luck to him he has been great for you this season.

so what's your version, riddell jumped on his leg, then tomkins ,then the rest of the team! he grabbed carmonts shirt and overstretched himself, no more to it than that. if it wasn't his fault who's fault was it? the poster asked if anyone saw what happened and i answered him.
