I thought both he and Pryce had been told to expect custodial sentences. I'd be surprised if it's due to injuries, otherwise I'd expect it to say so with a longer article thanking him for everything he's done for the club, blah, blah, blah. It sounds disciplinary to me but I'm just guessing.

This was rumoured last week so no surprise really he's had a lot of injuries and not really replicated his early bulls form.

Didn't he plead to common assault? If that is right he can't get longer than a six month term, albeit the operational period could be longer. Given that he pleaded on the day of trial, the guidelines allow a ten percent discount (although more is often given and a plea can be the difference between immediate custody and a suspended term).
