As a player I rate Sam but the last 2 times I've seen him play he's not looked anywhere near fit.

What a great game of rugby league by both sides very entertaining shame about the result.I thought we competed outstanding through out. I like Leigh but with winning teams it brings out an arrogance not just in the team but across the whole club, nowt wrong with that some would say but it also brings out the worst in supporters as they gloat from their lofty position and when you support the team that has lost you cannot get on the higher ground can you as you are on a loser.

BUT enjoy your time at the top as it [icould[/i all come crashing down if you beat Wakey and get fixture congestion having to play 2 midweek games plus you have to go to Odsal yet!

According to Leigh supporters, Fax were not very impressive! We were only made to look good because Leigh had an off day.



Their arrogance amazes me! Could it possibly be that Fax got in their faces from the first minute and prevented them from playing? The Fax defense was outstanding.

Watching it back, thought Leigh played a lot better than I gave credit for while watching it live. Fax played very well also. Not sure about your tactic of kicking dead or for touch repeatedly. There was a spell when you were two scores up, where keeping it in play and putting us under more pressure could've won you the game.

I don't think Leigh fans Gloat,after all we have now won 24 games on the trot we could have started gloating at around 4 games ,the Team has a winning mentality at the moment.

As for arrogance?Most is harmless banter ,all fans do a couple of seasons ago under Big Karl Fax won around 5 games on the trot

I remember quoting the saying ,Flying high in April ,shot down in May,to Fax fans all fans like to boast.As you so rightly say we could be victims of our own success,I'm not to bothered about the result on Sunday as long as we don't get humiliated ,the League is what matters,as for going to Odsal?Our game there is the 19th July next to last match of the season ,we could lose there and and still finish top as another team will have to beat us in between , it may happen though who knows?Not even me

Can't see that TBH think it will be close.Wakefield were dog awful at HKR last week.

What did surprise me though when i saw them live was how much bigger/stronger/

fitter they looked an how they structured their plays with pace,compared to us.

Mr Hall I've only seen Wakey on Sky ,but they are not that bad of a team ,they gave Wigan a dig a few weeks ago and will be up for this game , I respect every team and think Wakey will be very hard to beat, a defeat wouldn't upset me , though a win would be a welcome bonus.

You're correct there, but only in part I think. I noted a few Fax kicks that set off with back-spin, but somehow managed to kick forward when they landed rather than putting the brakes on. The LSV looks to be a great playing surface, but perhaps it reacts a little differently to what's expected for those not familiar by playing on it every week?



Fax aren't far off the pace in this league (Sheffield game excepted), but just can't do the business at the crucial times. We had enough ball when it was 10 v 10 to win the game, but didn't have the guile to spread the ball and find the gaps with so much space to go at with 6 players missing from the play.
