I honestly arent fishing for a bite. But it does annoy me how some supporters would rather bury their heads in the sand and blame everything on the football lot for trying to cause trouble.



As a Town supporter for many years, I have turned slightly paranoid about those who run "our" clubs. I have seen HTAFC in administration at least 3 times before its final demise a year and a half ago. I have also seen HRLFC on its knees a couple of times since I first started 'seriously' following the club around 1998 (when they first moved to the Shay).



I no longer trust the owners of "our" clubs. The only time they tell us that something is seriously wrong is when they expect us to dig deep in our pockets to bail them out. The latest set of accounts available on Companies House dont make good reading. This rent issue has been dragging on for longer than it should. There has been no comment from the club when it usually cant act fast enough to dismiss rumours and the people that matter most, the supporters, are more bothered about the football club than actually asking the club whether there actually is a problem.



Now you can aim digs at me over my support of FCHT as much as you like. I have broad shoulders and its water off a ducks back. But you should be firing your questions at those at HRLFC, rather than at me. Afterall the supporters make the club, without supporters it is simply a team and you deserve a little bit of respect.

You don't trust the people who run our club? Have you any idea who runs HRLFC? Do you know them? I've never heard anything so stupid.



Our club is run by local successful businessmen who love the club and do it for no financial benefit.



Do I correctly understand that the stadium fiasco over the last few years has been run by someone close to you? How you can therefore talk about other people making a mess of things is beyond me. It has been said on this forum and in the paper that the reason the stand isn't open now is due to the the huge snagging list the amount of things that aren't fit for purpose. Where is the guy that is supposed to be sorting all of this out....oh, he jumped ship a few months ago didn't he? There are a few people who have taken a lot of money out of the stadium shambles, but seemingly now no one is accountable for mistakes.

Yes there are many who use this forum that know many things about the fiasco that is the Shay Stadium but choose not to air it on a public forum .It`s people like Bubba that sometimes make me wish our club had not helped Town out by paying half their rent when they were in the usual mire.Did we ever get it back I wonder?

I actually think Michael Steele is an extremely nice and decent bloke as is Howard Posner. I cant comment about the others.
