Re the CCTV footage - it isn't clear which supporters the coaches driving past were carrying.

Re 2 seasons ago at the shay, been stood on a level with Fev supporters I can't say whether or not things were thrown from further up the stand (I was looking at the pitch and talking to friends until trouble caught my attention - so not saying there wasn't any provocation) - what I did see was Fev fans mouthing off at Fax fans walking back up to the stand, Fax fans having something to say back then a Fev supporter throwing punches - to be fair to those around him they put him in the middle of the group where he couldn't cause trouble and they kept him there. Until the end of the game when he got on the pitch. That is just 1 idiot but that is what people remember and is the generalised. That is the reason that I sit in the East Stand - I know there are Fax fans that would retaliate and fight back and I don't want to be there when it does.



The problem is this is still fresh in everyones minds and there will be media interest in this fixture cos of what happened. BOTH sets of fans need to realise that and use these fixtures going forward to show that RL is a friendly game and that fans can mix without trouble. However with idiots following both that's difficult.

Does this squabbling really help? Well done Halifax Evening (Morning) Courier on helping stir things up again. There is no evidence that they were Fev fans. On the CCTV I cant see a shirt or flat cap. From what I have heard they didnt get on a coach afterwards. They might have been random just out looking for somebody to attack. Although the arrests made were in and around Fev I believe.

I think you are wrong and its quite clear that people from the Featherstone area (Would not say they are fans) were involved. I also believe certain Fev fans know who it was and have reported what they know. I also am of the opinion others do not want to say for various reasons maybe friends or are related to the cowards or maybe are in fear of them. I do not blamd Fev Club or the fans as a whole. But sadly there is a element at Featherstone that are intent on causing problems as there is at most clubs. I also feel clubs (not just Fev) need to get rid of this element and if found guilty of ever causing problems facing a ban from all RL Grounds for life. I think something similar happens in soccer.

That proves nothing my friend, I am getting angry that SOME fans, from mainly Fev, think that this is a nothing story and that somehow their fans may not be resposnible and are trying to deflcet the blame.

That is disrepectful to the innocent victim of this and like all cases in law you have to have cast iron evidence before you can convict somebody in England which does not mean it did not happen.
