Quote littlerich="littlerich"I am indeed very well known to the club. I'm a fan. Have been since 1984. I am indeed annoyed - i would have liked to have started off this season unbeaten to date.
But you're right - we're not United. We are little old Halifax - making our way in difficult times. As paying fans we also have the right to criticise poor performances. All i'm saying is - look at the long game. 2015 is our real target year. We need more money, we need a youth set up and we need bigger attendances. That's the real hurdle here. I still believe we have the right people at board level to ensure that we give it our best shot. The current hurdle cannot be overcome by the coach alone. Whether Matt is here or not - the players have to look at themselves and their recent performances because they are better than that.
Good luck today Fax - i am unable to attent due to a bad ankle injury but i'll be there in spirit. Here's to blind faith

Similar sentiments to my own with regards to the club's fortunes & future. I'm also well known to the people who run the club and many fans who post on this messageboard.
I get really annoyed by the attitudes of some people who think sacking the coach is the answer, but I'm all for hearing other people's opinions and believe in freedom of speech.
None of us can be correct all of the time with our differing views on the game, but I do believe that the club is in very good hands and it's a while since we've had such a strong board of directors like we currently have.
Today's attendance will give a fair pointer as to the loyalty of our support given that Toulouse won't bring any support of worthy note and the competition in the marketplace with bank holiday monday choc-a-block with other matches and tv broadcasts. Our crowds have been very healthy so far this season so far, but tonight will give a true reflection especially after our three most recent results on the field.
