Well done Fax today it was a good pick me up that after feeling so flat this last week, I think I put too much into the team winning that cup match to raise my spirits after a bad week personally the week before.

Yer Fev had players out and had played that cup match but it was 8 days before and they were on their own turf playing a team that they really wanted to beat to be top of the league so we had to turn up to beat them by this score.

Fax just did the basics but did them very well, it is probably the worst Rovers performance i have seen in 35 years. Was it a cup hangover? we will find out next week at Batley because we can only use that excuse for this game

Yup fax played better quicker smarter and more disciplined rugby. Nowt special. Nowt flash. Just basic stuff - very well.

Funnily enough, that's what our GF winning season was built on. Beaten all across the park yesterday. No moans. No excuses.

Nowt flash, Just basic.......... I thought some of the moves we put on were breathtaking to be honest. Fev just couldnt handle Penky or our one trick pony half backs.

It's not a point worth falling out over like.... but I thought the moves on show from Fax were simplistic enough... but so effective when executed as they were.

You didn't need to put on a 'flash' show yesterday.

Daryl made a point over the last 2 seasons of having a few 'stockyard' plays and playing basic, bog standard rugby - quickly and very well.

Yesterday Fax did that to us! Well that's how I saw it.

Defended solidly throughout the games and fetched runners on from deep who punched holes in us seemingly at will.

A bloody great exhibition of rugby for the 192 souls from fax who made the journey.

Still, a crowd of 2800 sits well.

Could have easily been 3k on another day, thought the 3,000 days had gone when Widnes went up.

If the two clubs work together I can see these matches been the biggest crowds of the season if Fax fans start to come back to POR.

I think for the championship with no P/ R anything above 2000 is good to achievement from the clubs due to the poor away following of clubs



I would of liked a club to of been relegated last year into our league to see how many fans they would of lost with no promotion for 3 years

A crowd of 2800 with only 192 fax fans would suggest the club are moving in the right direction at addressing what I believed to be the 'unaddressable'!

Three years of success on the pitch should raise the attendances. Just beware of putting too much expectation on the SL bid as it could lead to a lot of disenfranchised fans, as has happened at Halifax.
