Please correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Penky once made Captain before and it ruined his game? When he was relieved of his captaincy, didn't his game improve ?
If I have got this wrong, I apologise. But, I'm sure there was a player in recent times that this happened to.

Yes, he was captain in the season before last. However, I disagree that it ruined his game, he was just not chosen as 1 of the 5 captains last year.

50/50 on this, not sure that Penky is captain material, however when the team needs a lift he can come up with the goods.

True it did but I think he has 'matured' since then and hopefully he will show his worth this time. He is a very determined player and does lead from the front so should do well. |
