What I find don't get is the fact that Wakey have been in administration recently,that was one of the reasons that we at Widnes were knocked back 3 years ago despite SOC offering to underwrite us with a fairly large sum.

It seems to me that the Crusaders made the decision for them and they didn't have the bottle to kick Wakefield out,having suffered the same disappointment we know how your all feeling right now,you will get over it.

Next season, I expect 1400-1600 home fans and the sad fact is we'll be the 2nd best supported team behind Leigh. I can't see how any team from the Championship will pass RFL criteria next time around unless you're Crusaders of course.



The championship will now die a slow & painful death unless a charismatic consortium of businessmen form a breakaway league.

Just watched Look North on iPlayer. The backdrop was laughable. Michael Steele in front of a new stand and the Wakey Chairman in front of a block of flats and a stand worse than the old one at Thrum Hall.

I was in that stand last season when the giants put 50 on wakey. I was scared to fart in case I started a fire and killed everyone in that horrendous death trap
