Dont get me wrong, you took your chances well, which is what a good team does, but thats exactly it, chances were given to you far too often.



Why on earth the two sending offs? Karl summed it up well, saying its rugby league not tiddly winks, he should have given a penalty and got on with it. You have to say Fev used the extra space better than us.



I am sure we have more tough encounters to come this season.

Handforth gave Bowman what-for after his brain fart gifted them possession.

Im sure both teams will be close at the back end of the season,to be honest I never bought into the fax injury list = Fev will run away with it theory. I had 6 points in it either way.

Not sure what game you obesrved. Our kicking game was 1st class and Rettie was far more impressive than the Warrior.



The work ethic is brilliant and Feildmouse has secured to no1 slot, think he'll be SL next season!



Belting game can't wait for the next tussle as I think we have another 10-15% to improve, I think Fev were at full strength?

To be honest i thought a draw wouldve been a fair result based on our performance from the 60th minute and Fax prior to that I thought we were done at 22-6



Second half changed when Ashall got sent off as he was your best forward by far and we stepped up a gear and seemed to find a bit more space despite going 22-6 down shortly after



Ashall was definately missed more than Haley



Think fitness told in the end in the last 10 minutes and it showed, we took our second half chances which we created or were given to us by Fax



But it wasnt a good Fev or Fax performance by far, a lot of things for both coaches to work on, but as an advertisement for the game and the championhsip it was unbelieveable!

What beats me though, is why we didnt go for the 2 points (twice) when we had kickable penalties????

What a superb game in front of a very good gate ,I think it said around 2,500 that is just brilliant for the club. I think if we had a few people who don`t come too often what they saw today has got to bring them back.

We need to keep trying to push the crowd numbers up ,a few hundred extra can make such a differance to our club . Well done Fax Directors and everyone else at the club a great advert for Rugby League.

Never doubt the rovers! Also, a few of the seats in the 'skircoat' stand will need to be screwed down again....if there found.
