I'm confused now as the 2 statements seem to contradict each other. I currently have Sky and Sky Sports. I have wanted to dump them for years but, up to now, it has been the only way to get my RL fix (apart from going to games of course). If I now dump Sky in it's entirety will I be able to subscribe to and receive Premier Sports or not?

theres nothing to stop you cancelling sky sports as a premium channel,then subscribing to premier on a reduced

monthly payment.

How can you get Premier Sports if you don't have Sky? Or are you really saying you do actually have Sky but do not subscribe to Sky Sports?

But seanfax says that he doesnt have sky, just gets premier sports. Surely you need sky to get it????

You don't have to subscribe to sky, all you need is a dish and a box.



After your first 12 months, you are free to cancel all subscriptions to sky, but keep the box and watch free to air channels and subscription services provided by third parties.



If you don't have sky, go on ebay and buy a second hand box, then get a local aerial company to come and put a dish up for you.

If Premier Sports is like Setanta (washes my mouth out and spits) then you should be able to get it through a type of freeview box where you can pay for extra channels through a top-up card. I may be wrong, though.

Yeh, but once the contract expires you can still use the box to decode free to air channels, there's also a card sky sell that gives you a few extra I think

I haven't got Sky,

Therefore I haven't got a sky dish,

I don't know what a decoder is,

Therefore to get Premier sports should I buy a Television?

reading all this, I think i'm safe to say if you got virgin media you won't be watching Championship rugby next year

ive had sky in the past, but cancelled all paying channels about 6 months ago,so basicly i am using my sky box as a freeview box, just geting free channels,so all i did was subscribe to premier sports for £7.99 a month,,u dont need to be signed up to sky to get premier eventho u use the sky card,
