None of us really know the full facts around TA’s proposal to the council, his full plans for the ground and how this will impact or benefit the 2 clubs, despite people’s protests on both forums. This is an opportunity to listen (hopefully) to what the proposals are, it may help people be more objective, try to find answers to some of the questions that have been raised, get some re-assurance over how the future of both clubs would be protected and possibly enhanced. It might change the minds of people on either side of the argument..



But I find it very strange that some people have been making a lot of noise on this issue and now these same people say “let’s boycott the meeting!” Here’s a chance to hear from the horse’s mouth what he proposes, put questions and concerns to him, hopefully get to know the facts and not rely on hearsay. Instead of spouting off on a forum, take your chance, listen to what he says and ask your questions. If you don’t think your questions are answered and feel the same afterwards then that’s fair enough.

The only reason some folk will "boycott" the meeting will be due to the meeting being past their bed times.

I don't see how name calling or goading each others' supporters ( I know plenty of folks who support both the footy & RL clubs BTW ) into boycotting or past their bedtimes or worrying about violence or it kicking off is going to improve any impending situation quite frankly & makes one group look as antagonising as the other, I'd say for those who are interested in what the man has to say, go along & attend the meeting/forum and listen for yourselves.

Anyone who gets loud or rude or not prepared to listen needs to be ejected so that the others can absorb what is being relayed to the public, FOR THE FIRST TIME. Until now, most of it is speculation as i see things.

No i won't be there, for one, i'm on 2-10 shift and for another reason, i'm really not that bothered at this moment in time until there are further developments.
