Oh dear! Thought we played well in first half but ref kept them in the game. Second half we were pants regardless of Rockin' Ronnie's incompetance( hold major judgement 'til I've seen rerun of game). We looked like we didn't want it in second half, poor sets of six followed by a chip - what the hell is that about (Jones not good enough I think, did same against Batley instead of hoofing it down field).

If the ref is poor then keep yer gob shut and play him instead of feeding him.

Did notice that their props stood right in front of ref at play the ball so that he could n't see the messing about, and Ronnie not good enough to spot this.

Was never gonna be easy replacing Branighan, and Jones has not stepped up to the plate, can he be blamed though? Luke was a quality act.



Gannon is a work horse and hasnt taken a backwards step, he does concede penaltys, but so did tamghart, but I Jim as more of a replacement for Wrench, we miss having a big firery B*astard in the pack, someone like Said or Dom Maloney, as when the going gets tough we havn't got anyone who can get in the oppositions faces. And if need be, knock the crap out of someone.



I'm not right keen on Fairbank upto now either, the players Leigh had on a Dual Reg last season became top regular players for them, who they missed if they weren't availible, we wouldn't miss Fairbank if he was needed by Hudds as we have players who are as good in the squad already In My opinion.



Need a massive improvement for when we go to sheffield, they'll want to get one over on us after the whole Barlow thing, (Im sure he'll be getting the odd txt message this next week or so). Every team we play are going to want to beat us as we're the champions, but if we dont change quick then we'll be staring down a mid table finish at best

Why did we have a fullback on the bench?

That was a sub wasted to me when we needed go forward we brought on Miles and left Frank to play about 15 minutes all night. Shoot me but I still have grave doubts about the coaching decisions that are made on numerous occasions.

Personally thought Worrincy had a good game, apart from going too high on the tackle in the corner he was solid, ran the ball back well, started and finished his try off with excellent work from beswick. Thought he was tripped by Saxton (maybe) on the ground which prevented another try too. I too am confused with having two fullbacks on the bench. It was there constant power coming off the bench that killed us as well as a serious lack of discipline.



EDIT watched that 'trip' incident i mentioned but think i was a bit harsh on the Fev player, don't think theres anything intentional there! Plus its completely immaterial.



Fax good in first half and maybe too complacent in second with Fev looking far more up for it and having the better bench and tactics.
