I was hopeful of at least bonus point and a improvment performance from last weekend.Things looked good going into the break just 8-0 down and abit more fight.



But that 2nd half was poor one man rugby for the whole 40mins and Ben Blacks kicing was awful.



Maybe Callard gave the lads a few Scrumpy Jacks to celebrate at HT for a improved performance ?cos when I went for a can they had sold out.

The difference between Calland and his predecessors is that Calland has gone that one step further, like it or not, and got us to the Grand Final, gradually building over the past couple of years or so. I don't know what some of you guys want, but remember we're a club with 2,000 fans with no sugar daddy yet you expect a Tony Smith type coach and it to be all hunky dory with never a bad patch to be had, and for us all to live happily ever after .... get real!

...................and also how quickly one can get out of the mire. Leigh were relegated last year - RELEGATED!

Watch SL on SKY now and it's as though Eddie and Stevo are on the happy pills or summat, well OTT on praising "The Greatest Game", do you get that in soccer coverage ... errrmmm, no! Some bone crunching stuff over Easter but was it really THAT good? I think not!

Tbh the fans last night were great, subdued but still there in number and applauded when the lads did something good, loyal bunch imo.

The Fev fans around me were gobsmacked when 2,300 was announced. They reckoned it was a far bigger number than that.

I reckon we took a lot more last night than we did last year for the televised drum-fest, if that's any guideline.
