Well done Michael, that is a hard thing to do but on behalf of I am sure all Fax fans and of all clubs outside the SL I am with you all the way.
This is a first as I actually agree with the RFL on this one occasion as the proposal put forward is the best for the whole game under the circumstances and finally gets rid of the much hated Franchise system which if kept WILL kill the game.
Look at the whole of our sport SL chairmen not just SL, the Championship teams and those below are the foundations of our sport as without them there will only be 13 towns or cities in England who will have a team playing RL if they are not careful, is that what they want? |

You can always rely on Mr Steele to show some steel when required.
Lets hope others follow in voicing there support.
Are we suprised that others show such ignorance of the game, no because many of the chairmen of the leading clubs have not been associated with the game long enough.

This, from a Bulls fan: "If fev Fax or Leigh are to get into SL we need to find a way to bring them up to that level not bring SL down to theirs".

Well said Mr Steele, I agree with his views on the restructure but the point of a lack of commercial input (no financial sponsors for 2 seasons) in SL is a major issue and needs to be addressed along with the bringing back P&R.
The SL clubs may well greedy and self-centred, who knows, they may even be genuinely interested in the future of the whole of Rugby League, this remains to be seen.
