| Just watching them on BBC2.
It amazes me how far they've come since September 2005 when Fax dumped them out of the playoffs at New Craven Park. Nearly four years later, they're flying high in Super League, going strong in the Challenge Cup and packing out their stands with a sea of red. Seeing Ben Fisher still running the line also takes me back to where our two clubs were in 2005.
We are still there of course but look what can be achieved with a lot of hard work and a bit of financial backing. Widnes are primed to follow their lead but i'd love for it to be us in that position. We need a successful season to kick us on ahead for a couple of seasons after that. Who knows where such an end to this season will take us ? - increased gates and hopefully more financial backing. It can be done.

| Briers puts the nail in HKR's challenge cup coffin. The old timer is still such an influential member of the Warrington squad.

| The Golden Point system really needs looking at, Surely a Golden Try would be better, that or a kicked Penalty, Both teams were taking Drop Goal attempts from all over the show, and looked knackard. Not a good end to a good match

| I have to congratulate Hull KR in coming this far in the past few years, but if the Rugby League are serious about giving the sport a wide geographical spread, then why oh why have 2 teams in the SAME city? What a waste of a "franchise" (I hate that word, but will use it nevertheless) place. Either bluddy merge them, or have one feeding the other in the lower division, and seeing as FC are obviously the bigger club, then chuck KR out. Bring down the mindless inner city hatred barrier and I'm sure the red red robins wouldn't mind being FC's feeder club eh?

| Hull KR did well and have a good squad of players.
i agree about the golden point rule should be changed it is not fair they should go back to the 10 mins each way and then the best side might win the game.

WHY ?
I.M.O. as a live broadcast, it was fantastic television viewing. How would the SL GF be ended, would that be a golden point situation ? I go to the GF every year and haven't really considered the draw effect. All in all Brew, the teams both had 80 mins to win the game, it's their own fault if they didn't, regardless of how it ends, a cup tie is about result & not performance.

The difference is that HKR have always had that dormant support base , something I dont think you have
And Tonyfax , part of the reason they have that support base is directly because of having 2 clubs in the one city
Both clubs draw strength from each other , it is the intense rivalry that feeds interest in both clubs
Just having one big club and a feeder club would lose thousands of fans to the sport itself

Why don't we?
Apart from the early eighties we were always better supported than Hull KR.
We have a better history.
