Not going to go into any sort of pros or cons about it. But the council has approved and the shay is now listed as an assett of community value.
Doesn't prevent any sale. Just allows any
Community based groups 6 months to put in their own bid. And while it doesn't stop the shay being knocked down for apartments in the future. It will be taken into account when going through planning permission that it is a community assett.

Another spanner in the works for any underhand deal. The Shay will always be The Shay and will always be the home of The Shaymen. They may be few but by hell do they know how to defend their ancestral home, a true Band of Brothers if ever their were any. Reactiv will eventually vanish like a fart in the wind.

It's too easy to register on here and start posting. When I tried to register on Shaygirls.net it wouldn't let me. It asked the security question "What stadium do FC Halifax Town play their home games in?" and when I put "Reactiv Stadium" it rejected it.
