Yes, Ronnie likes Widnes of that there's no doubt. The vid ref was right with the obstruction ... very unlucky but Webster was slightly impeded which made a very small difference, but a difference nonetheless.



I was amazed Haven turned their recent shocking form round, but having said that, take Thackery out of Widnes and you're left with nak all really. Gannon still works hard and Doran makes yards. But Jamie Webster and Mark Smith aren't anywhere near as good as Black and Gleeson/Penky. Cullen looked worried, as he should. They'll have to step up a few gears if they make it to the GF, but hey it's cup rugby, owt can happen!

Duffy/Morrison/Gaskell/Kohe Love were all missing, granted we played crap and Varks went off pretty early. To say were a one man team is laughable.

You was lucky tonight. Haven tired after playing Sunday and as ever Laughton helped you lot. Without Thackray you would have lost tonight. Thackray is the only real game breaker you have as Smith, Webster, Duffy etc are average. Play like that against Sheffield, Fax or Barrow and its goodnight. Widnes however do not need to reach the GF as they won the cup and are under no real pressure now as the box for SL is ticked.Cullen however has a lot of work to do after tonight. Attacking wise you looked clueless except Thackray. Defence was average as well.
