Mike Bennett to Retire Early | Rumours indicate that Mike Bennett is going to retire from the game, aged only 28.
The second rower has suffered from injury through his career and his latest shoulder injury will see him leave professional rugby.
It has been suggested that Bennett may spend a year out, playing for his old club, Wigan Golborne Parkside, before embarking upon a career in teaching.
If the news is true, the Entertainers would like to extend their gratitude to Bennett and wish him the best in his new career.
Scott Moore Remians on Loan | Scott Moore will go out on loan to Huddersfield Giants next season. Speaking to Saints Official Website (link), Eamonn McManus said he still featured in the future plans, but would be limited to game time next season.
The move appears to be an indicator that Keiron Cunningham is line for an extension of his contract.
| Saints ran in seven tries to comprehensively beat the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats 10-42 at Belle Vue.
Kyle Eastmond scored the pick of the tries and kicked six goals to seal an impressive display at Scrum Half, although he picked up an injury in the second half.
The game also marked the début for Jacob Emmitt, a highly rated young prop, who ran the ball hard and was unlucky not to score in the process.

Paul Sculthorpe "Available for Signing" | Paul Sculthorpe now joins a list of Saints' players who appear to be going towards the exit at Knowlsey Road. The injury plagued maestro has been linked with a move to Salford City Red, where he would join up with man who signed him up for Saints in 1998, Shaun McRae.
McRae said "We are aware that Sculthorpe is available but I am not sure about whether or not we will go for him yet."
Salford's Director told the Manchester Evening News (link) it was a "non starter." However, Sculthorpe's departure now seems imminent.
Maurie Close Run for the Final | Maurie Fa'asavalu is a doubt for Saints Wembley appearance. The impact-prop has picked up a thigh-strain and will be out for a minimum of four weeks.
Bryn Hargreaves Set to Leave | After a superb season as starting prop, Bryn Hargreaves is set to leave Knowsley Road.
The former Wigan player is desperate to sign an extension for Saints, although suggestion is that Saints offer is "peanuts." Unless Saints are to increase the paltry offer, Bryn will be plying his trade away from the men in red and white.
And with Fozzard rumoured to be returning to Yorkshire (for either Wakefield or Hull KR), it leaves Saints with three out and out props for 2009. Not an easy start to Mick Potter's reign.
Langtree and Saints Urge Fans to Sign Petition | Saints new stadium developers and the club have urged fans who have not already signed the online petition to do so.
Speaking to Saints Backing the Stadium, they said that of the 11,500 return, there was 1,500 that spoke against the project. While they have now done project data based on the figures to support the application on the 20th May, but more votes in favour will benefit it as it goes through the various phases of the process.
